Moving towards another deadline, I stop a bit for a blog update. It is very, very cold outside. The day was brilliant. In the back yard, the hammock from my sister is full of golden maple leaves. They are huddled in the middle like a sleeping person.

Today a book came in the mail. It is “Angels and Wonders” by Joan Wester Anderson. The family story is in the book, it is the chapter called, “Our Lady’s Mantle”. My grandparents names in the story are Lolo and Lola, which is funny because that is how I told the story.  Mama and Auntie Terry were also interviewed by the author. This took place a long time ago.

Today, on Facebook, two old friends appeared. We are having a Facebook Baguio reunion. My next door neighbor found us.

And that is enough reason to celebrate.
