Bud’s off to Texas where he will speak to dermatologists about the joys of antioxidants. He left at the crack of dawn today, and will travel all day and work tonight until late. He’ll be back tomorrow.
The breakfast club of college kids was in the kitchen early this morning preparing their lunches and calling out “Goodbye Mama!” over their shoulders as they went out the door.
I was going to let the 90’s batch sleep in but then realized that the trash had not been put on the sidewalk. Recycling is a form of religious devotion in this house, not for me, but for my environmentally aware children. I got them up to sort the recycling bins. Rosie is very precise about what needs to be put where. How I wish everything was super biodegradable!
Last night we had a fabulous impromptu dinner party for four of the kids’ friends. We ordered a spread from the Lebanese restaurant because I’d had a deadline at 5 pm. It was delicous and the company was delightful.
