We have a very special friend – Jeff Brown. He’s a new author – just published his first book, Toolbox for the Mind.
Our artist daughter helped him with the Photoshop layout of the book cover. We’ve enjoyed many visits from this young wise man, and truly enjoy his company.
We have a very out of tune old piano, which is more of a sentimental prop than a musical instrument.It’s still with us because we are attached to it and it harbors memories of our daughter playing the Harry Potter themes and “Auld Lang Syne” and “Happy Birthday.” The music making has moved on to a electric keyboard with all the bells and whistles.
When Jeff came to one of our winter dinner parties, he played the old piano – and there wasn’t a single sour note. Amazing!
